Record the last confirmed condition before transport, repotting, or transfer to another caretaker, then document the event and subsequent symptoms. An established graft broken during movement is a different loss from a scion that never sustained growth. Keep both in production totals but classify them separately. That distinction directs improvement toward the operation that failed rather than changing a joining method that was functioning beforehand.
