Some microorganisms occur inside mango tissues rather than only on their surfaces. Surface treatment consequently does not establish that a shoot is free of internal contaminants. Keep newly initiated cultures identifiable and follow their condition over time before using them as clean multiplication stock. Repeated contamination calls for reviewing source material and the establishment procedure, not simply stronger surface treatment.
