Grafting & PropagationDoes darkening the medium with activated charcoal simply hide mango culture contamination?

Activated charcoal is used for particular adsorption effects in some plant-culture protocols, not as proof of sterility. It can also change the availability of added compounds. Use it only within an evaluated formulation and assess contamination appropriately; a darker background or less visible browning does not establish that the culture environment is clean.
