Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Flowering & PollinationCan many observed panicles on one mango substitute for observations on several trees?

They describe variation within that tree, which is useful, but they all share much of its environment and management history. Keep the tree identifier attached to every panicle record. When comparing tree treatments or making recommendations for a planting, include separate comparable trees rather than presenting many clusters on one tree as many independent tree responses. The level of replication should match the conclusion being drawn.
