Flowering & PollinationCan one named mango cultivar serve as a proven cross-pollen source for another tree of the same name?
A second tree can supply flowers, but its presence does not establish that a genetically different pollen source has been added. Distinguish another plant from another documented cultivar when interpreting a cross-pollination proposal. Record the source identities and observed overlap, then evaluate insect movement and results. Do not describe a planting as a tested cultivar combination merely because two nursery pots carried separate individual labels.
