Ask the receiving laboratory for its collection and handling requirements before taking material. Identify the donor tree, panicle stage, collection time, and recent weather, and keep those details with the sample. A result describes the submitted material under the test used; it does not automatically describe pollen from every branch throughout bloom. Link the result to matching field observations before using it to explain a whole season.
