Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Flowering & PollinationCan a favorable observation day erase earlier cold effects on mango reproductive tissues?

No. A warm, calm day describes current pollination opportunities but does not establish that pollen and pistils developed without earlier injury. Mango temperature research has linked reproductive performance with the season's thermal history and organ function. Include conditions before flower sampling when investigating poor results. Current insect activity and pleasant weather cannot independently establish that the reproductive tissues are fully functional.
