Check the published stage descriptions and scale version first. Mango studies have used different coding systems and extensions, including distinctions between successive flushes or inflorescence waves. Similar-looking numbers need not represent the same observation. Build a description-based correspondence before combining historical records, and preserve original codes so an uncertain conversion does not replace the evidence actually recorded in the orchard.
