Sample size and preparation belong to the testing method. Changing them can alter how representative the tissue is and how much each small weighing error matters. A faster result is useful only if it remains comparable with the reference used for harvest decisions. Follow the established procedure, and evaluate an alternative against that procedure before relying on it for an entire picking group.
