Impact energy depends on fruit mass as well as the distance fallen, so an identical transfer height can expose heavier mangoes to a different impact. Evaluate the largest expected fruit and the actual receiving surface when checking a transfer. Do not adopt a single supposedly harmless height from another setup. Include later bruise assessment, because an intact peel at the transfer point does not describe the entire outcome.
