No. A reading from a diluted preparation describes that mixture rather than the original fruit sample. Record added ingredients and use the same sample preparation when comparing mangoes. If the purpose is to evaluate the fruit, measure the specified undiluted sample before making the recipe. A precise instrument cannot correct an undocumented change in what was placed on it.
