Mango research distinguishes pathways associated with intact fruit from those associated with disrupted tissue. Keep sample preparation consistent when comparing aroma measurements and state whether the result came from whole-fruit headspace or prepared pulp. Otherwise a change caused by the measurement preparation can be mistaken for a difference between harvest lots.
