Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Flavor, Quality & StorageCan a controlled heat-conditioning step make mangoes more tolerant of a later heat treatment?

Research has shown that a defined conditioning step can alter mango tolerance to subsequent hot-water exposure. That adaptive response differs from assuming that all additional warmth is harmless. Evaluate the complete sequence, fruit maturity, and final quality under a validated protocol. Do not add an improvised warming step to a treatment line, because the protective effect depends on conditions rather than simply the presence of earlier heat.
