Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Flavor, Quality & StorageHow does checking a refractometer's zero differ from repeatedly testing mango juice?

A zero check uses the appropriate reference, commonly clean water under the instrument's instructions, to detect an offset before measuring juice. Repeated juice readings examine consistency but can repeat the same offset every time. Clean the prism and follow calibration and temperature-equilibration guidance. Agreement between several readings is not evidence of accuracy if the instrument's reference check has been neglected.
