No. A cloth can move contamination from dirty surfaces to clean ones rather than remove the risk. Keep cleaning materials appropriate to their tasks, replace or clean them suitably, and protect prepared food from dirty wiping water. A board that looks polished afterward is not necessarily cleaner if the same cloth was used indiscriminately.
