No. Insulation slows heat gain but does not by itself maintain a safe temperature for cut mango. Use adequate cooling material and a suitable thermometer, keeping food protected from dirty meltwater. A cool-feeling exterior or a few remaining ice pieces cannot establish that every food portion stayed under the intended refrigerated conditions.
