Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersWhy do leaf veins matter when documenting suspected mango bacterial black spot?

Bacterial black spot can produce angular dark lesions associated with leaf veins. Include an entire leaf in your photographs so the shape and vein pattern remain visible, rather than showing only an enlarged black area. Photograph both surfaces and retain leaves with early lesions. This pattern is useful supporting evidence, but it does not replace diagnosis because mango leaves can carry other dark injuries and more than one problem at a time.
