Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersCould an unexplained mango root problem require nematode testing rather than only a fungal test?

Ask the diagnostic service whether root parasites belong in the local investigation and whether a separate submission is needed. Root-knot nematodes are root parasites, but poor growth alone does not identify them or establish their importance on your mango. Explain which examinations have already been performed before collecting material. A result from one kind of test should not be treated as an assessment of every possible root problem, including drainage injury or organisms outside that test's scope.
