Bacterial black spot can produce scabby lesions with star-shaped cracks and water-soaked margins. Document that border while the injury is fresh, together with other affected plant parts. Later drying or secondary rot may obscure it. This combination helps frame a diagnostic submission, but it does not prove that every cracked fruit has bacterial disease or that a treatment should be selected from one photograph.
