Pests, Diseases & DisordersCan scale spread between nursery mangoes without an adult insect walking across?
Mobile crawlers can move on contaminated tools, equipment, clothing, and plant material, and some disperse with wind. Adult immobility therefore does not make a colony isolated. Keep infested lots separate and clean equipment between affected and unaffected work. Include recently handled neighboring plants in follow-up inspection instead of watching only the original tree's attached scales.
