Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersCan a moving bundle of debris on mango foliage be a beneficial insect?

Some lacewing larvae carry plant fragments and prey remains as a protective covering. Look for legs and feeding behavior beneath the moving material without crushing it. Such a larva can be mistaken for dead debris, an infestation, or a growth on the leaf. Obtain an identification before cleaning it away, particularly beside colonies of small sap-feeding pests.
