Climate, Cold & Container GrowingWhy does evaporative greenhouse cooling perform differently in humid and dry mango-growing climates?
Evaporative cooling depends on water changing into vapor, so already humid incoming air offers less cooling potential than dry air. Compare summer humidity with temperature before selecting equipment. Do not assume a system demonstrated in a desert greenhouse will produce the same reduction in a humid coastal house. Ventilation and shading still need evaluation as parts of the complete cooling design.
