Climate, Cold & Container GrowingWhy can mango leaves collect condensation while the greenhouse air is still warm?
Condensation depends on the leaf surface reaching the dew point of the surrounding air, not on the air feeling cold to a person. A leaf can cool below the measured room temperature. Compare surface temperature, humidity, and air movement when investigating overnight wetness; raising the thermostat alone may leave localized cool surfaces and the moisture source unchanged.
