Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Climate, Cold & Container GrowingWhy can wet greenhouse floors keep mango foliage humid after irrigation has stopped?

Water remaining on floors, benches, and other surfaces continues evaporating into the enclosed air. Stopping the irrigation timer does not immediately remove that moisture load. Investigate drainage and avoid unnecessary wetting alongside the ventilation plan. Treating the problem only as excess transpiration from mango leaves can overlook a substantial and preventable source of nighttime humidity.
