Grafting weather, scion condition, and handling can vary between sessions. If each rootstock is grafted on a different day, those changes become entangled with rootstock identity. Where practical, include each treatment within sessions and record day and operator. This makes later differences easier to interpret than a comparison in which calendar order matches treatment order exactly.
