Picking every treatment on one convenient date does not establish equivalent fruit maturity. Compare maturity measurements and use a defined harvest rule before assessing ripening quality. Otherwise differences attributed to rootstock may reflect picking stage. Record harvest dates as outcomes too, because a genuine shift in readiness can matter even when fruit quality at equivalent maturity is similar.
