Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Seeds, Rootstocks & BreedingCan equal numbers of mango fruit from unequal numbers of trial trees provide a fair treatment comparison?

Fruit observations should remain linked to individual trees. Taking many fruit from one tree does not create the same independent evidence as sampling several trees. Distribute sampling across the replicated trees and report the structure. This allows tree-to-tree variation to remain visible instead of letting a heavily sampled exceptional tree dominate the treatment's quality result.
