Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Seeds, Rootstocks & BreedingCan a rootstock's nutrient-uptake advantage disappear under saline irrigation?

Salinity can change nutrient availability, uptake, and distribution, and mango experiments show that the resulting imbalances differ between rootstocks. A comparison under suitable water therefore does not establish the same ranking under saline conditions. Match testing to the intended exposure and assess growth and tissue results together. Keep any recommendation specific to the scion, water, and conditions represented by the evidence.
