No. Detection in experimental tissue establishes a much narrower result than stable whole-plant development and useful fruiting. Mango transformation experiments may begin with embryos or other cultured material. Ask whether complete plants were recovered and how their performance was evaluated. A molecular result is a research milestone, not a substitute for the propagation and horticultural stages needed for a cultivar.
