Stacking can place solid surfaces against openings or leave no useful air path through the pallet. Check the assembled stack with its restraints, liners, and neighboring loads in place. Product-temperature differences within the stack can expose the problem. Carton selection and pallet configuration therefore need to be evaluated together, rather than approving an isolated empty carton as proof of cooling performance.
