Fruit extending into the stacking space can receive pressure that the carton structure was meant to carry. Check the actual fruit arrangement and closed package, not only carton dimensions or nominal fruit count. Reassess when size grades change. A sound package design still needs a packing instruction that protects the fruit throughout the assembled load.
