Orchard & Commercial GrowingWhy should mango defect photographs include both the whole fruit and its cut surface?
The whole-fruit view records the external appearance and location of damage, while the cut view shows the affected tissue. Link both to the same sample and lot, with a clear description of the observation stage. Neither view alone necessarily diagnoses the cause. Together they make supplier discussions and later comparisons more informative than an isolated close-up of abnormal flesh.
