Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Getting StartedHow big does a mango tree get?

Mango size varies with variety, growing conditions, and pruning. Many unpruned trees can become large landscape trees, roughly 30 to 100 feet tall, so do not judge their ultimate size from a nursery pot. Lower-vigor selections can be easier to maintain at a smaller height with regular, thoughtful pruning. Plan room for the canopy, roots, harvesting, and access before planting; a label saying compact does not mean a tree will stay small without care.
