Mango FAQ

1 FAQ

Pests, Diseases & DisordersWhy are mango leaves turning yellow?

Yellow mango leaves are a symptom, not a diagnosis. Possible explanations include normal aging of older leaves, excessive or insufficient water, root damage, and nutrient availability problems associated with soil conditions. Note whether the yellowing is on young or old leaves, whether veins remain green, and whether growth is otherwise healthy. Check drainage and root-zone moisture first, then use appropriate testing or diagnosis before adding iron, magnesium, nitrogen, or other treatments that may not address the cause.
