Curling mango leaves can occur while a soft new flush is expanding, but persistent distortion can also follow water stress, insect feeding, chemical injury, or disease. Examine fresh growth closely for pests and look for a pattern across the tree rather than diagnosing from one curled leaf. Check the root environment and any recent spray exposure as well. If the distortion spreads or new shoots die, obtain a diagnosis with photographs or a suitable sample before choosing a treatment.
